Deputy to the Commander
Abby Quinn, a native of Anniston, Alabama, began her career as a college CO-OP in the Internal Review and Audit Compliance Office in 2003.
In 2008, she moved to the Directorate of Resource Management where she worked as an accountant in the Managerial Accounting Division and a program analyst in the Program and Budget Division.
In 2011, she had the opportunity to work at Headquarters, Army Materiel Command as a budget analyst in the Army Working Capital Fund Industrial Operations Division.
In 2014, she returned to Anniston as the chief of the Program and Budget Division in DRM.
In 2019, she was promoted to the director of DRM and held that role until March2023 when she accepted a remote position to work in the HQ AMC Audit Readiness Division.
In August 2023, she assumed the position as the Anniston Army Depot’s Deputy to the Commander.
She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting (2004) and an MBA with a concentration in accounting (2006) from Jacksonville State University. Additionally, she is a certified public accountant (2008) and a certified defense financial manager (2019).
Her career has concentrated in financial operations, audit readiness, and budget development/execution.
As the Deputy to the Commander, she serves as the senior civilian advisor to the commander.
